TEXT

The producer of this work is confused and conflicted, an alienated consumer. Never gone fishing when he had the chance, now he buys fish from the store not knowing their past. He knows as much as the different names, the labels provide that, but from the fisherman, the process and the ocean he remains disconnected. Despite his alienation he can sense that something is fishy, the fishes aren't where they should be. Finally one inspired morning, he decides that fishes must be returned to their home. With eight fish, all that he could afford, he walks out of the store. He spots a tree and proceeds to hangs them, clueless of their place in nature, he tells a passerby "Fish grow on trees, don't they?"
